It would be fascinating to know how firm in their views the vox popped would have dared to be, or how seriously their opinions would have been taken, if they had first been asked to briefly explain the difference between the European Commission and the European Council, list the last three countries to join the EU or name the capital of Denmark.”

Sorry to burst the vox-pop bubble but most people’s opinions aren’t news
